PEANUT BUTTER BANANA BREAKFAST SMOOTHIE

I’ll be upfront with you and admit that, in general, I’m not a huge fan of peanut butter. You see, the smell made me sick as can be when I was pregnant with our son. That was six years ago now, and I still haven’t quite recovered from that with regard to eating peanut butter. But in a smoothie, I can handle it. In this smoothie, it’s delicious.

All of you peanut butter fanatics are probably saying, “umm… yeah, it is!” But for someone who’s not a huge fan of peanut butter, to say that I love this drink is huge.

But let’s get back to this peanut butter banana breakfast smoothie.

VANILLA OAT PROTEIN SMOOTHIE #drink #healthydrink

Ingredients :

• 1 banana frozen
• 1/2 c. almond milk
• 1 5.3 oz cup vanilla Greek yogurt
• 1/2 c. oats
• 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
• 4 tbsp. natural peanut butter

Instructions :

1. Add milk, yogurt, peanut butter, cinnamon and oats to blender first. Add the frozen banana pieces on top.
2. Blend and pulse for 1-2 minutes until thick and creamy. 
3. Pour into glass and garnish with oats, if desired.
