Homemade Oat Milk
Here's my recipe for creamy Homemade Oat Milk with just 2 ingredients that you can make in just 10 minutes! It's super simple with just 3 ingredients and a great alternative to shop bought dairy free milks, as there's less waste and it works out much cheaper!
I like my milk creamier, so I don't add too much water (relatively) but if you're finding it too thick just add a little more water. You can also substitute the vanilla extract for one whole pitted date for a sweetener if you like.

Yield: 8 Servings
Ingredients
- 90g (1 Cup) Oats
- 750ml (3 Cups) Water
- 1/4 Tsp Vanilla Extract
- Add all the ingredients to a blender (I use my Nutribullet) and blend for around 1 minute until everything seems well combined.
- Pour the mixture through a muslin cloth into a large bowel, pouring a little bit at a time and squeezing the cloth to get the milk through (this process may take a little time).
- Transfer to a glass jar and refridgerate. It will keep for up to 5 days - before using shake well as it may have separated.
